I am a hugely devoted fan of slinging since the birth of my beautiful girl just over 3 years ago. I got a present of a strappy blue “front loader” which took a degree to get my baby into, and i never really was quite comfortable with her dangling little chubby legs and arms in it… and thought “this cant be cosy”.. so on I hunted. We lived in Canada before babies and went back when the baby was 6 weeks old (crazy!), where I discovered a whole new world of easy slings! So being the first time mom, everything looked like it should be tried.. so I did…! i tried every sling under the sun, and then found the hotsling… WOW!
It was one solid band, available in black (hurrah, would match my whole wardrobe !).. had no buckles, no wads and miles of material to wrangle while in coffee shops.( “Ladies and gentlemen please mind your beverages and food, i am about to assemble my sling … DUCK!).. whats more, it fits in a handbag..
So as the proud owner of my own veritable library of slings, there is one I use again and again and again, my trusty Hotsling. Now available in ireland through Onceborn – how fab is that!?
